삼성의 1,460만 화소 CMOS 센서를 탑재한 펜탁스의 새 DSLR의 모델명은 'K-7'로서, 펜탁스의 DSLR로서는 최초
5000는 지원하지 않는 1,536 x 1,024 해상도까지 초당 30프레임으로 촬영할 수 있습니다. 또한 최근의 DSLR에서는 당연시되고 있는 HDMI 단자를 기본으로 탑재하고, 3인치 라이브뷰 LCD, 카메라 내부적으로 렌즈의 왜곡을 수정하는 기능, 손떨림 보정 기능, 먼지 제거 기능 등을 갖추고 있습니다. 특히 돋보이는 기능은 HDR(High Dynamic Range) 기능인데요, 노출이 다른 세 장의 사진을 찍은 후 이를 합침으로써 한 장의 사진에서 다양한 노출 영역을 커버할 수 있다고 하네요.

일본에서는 6월 말부터 바디만 13만엔(약 170만원), 표준 렌즈인 'DA 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL WR'을 포함한 'K-7 렌즈 킷'은 14만엔(약 180만원)에 판매될 예정이며, 미국에서도 7월부터 판매될 예정

 EOS 500D는 고급 DSLR보다 한 단계 아래의 DSLR 입문용 카메라로, 풀HD 동영상 촬영 지원이 가능한 점이 특징이다. 고급 기종의 DSLR 카메라에 풀HD 동영상 촬영 기능이 탑재된 경우는 있지만 일반 소비자들이 접하기 쉬운 중급 이하 기종에 이 기능이 포함된 것은 이번이 처음이라고 캐논코리아 측은 설명했다.

 렌즈를 교환할 수 있는 장점을 활용해 광각, 망원, 어안 렌즈 등 다양한 렌즈로 색다른 동영상 촬영이 가능하고 동영상 촬영시에도 아웃포커싱 등 DSLR 카메라의 촬영 효과를 그대로 즐길 수 있다.


 또, 고선명 멀티미디어 인터페이스(HDMI)단자가 내장돼 있어 촬영한 동영상을 화질 손상 없이 TV나 스크린 등으로 옮겨 감상할 수 있다. 풀HD인 1920×1080에서는 초당 20프레임, 1280×720 및 640×480에서는 초당 30프레임을 지원한다. 풀HD화질에서는 연속촬영으로 최대 12분, HD나 SD에서는 각각 18분, 24분 동영상 촬영이 가능하다.

 사진 촬영 기능도 전문가급 수준이다. 캐논의 4세대 영상처리 엔진인 ‘디직4’가 탑재돼 1510만 화소의 고화질 이미지도 빠르게 처리할 수 있다. 초당 3.4매까지 연사가 가능하다는 설명이다. 또 촬영한 이미지를 멈춤 없이 빠르게 LCD 화면으로 확인할 수 있다.

 EOS 500D는 ISO 6400(확장 모드시 ISO 12800)의 초고감도 촬영을 지원하여 어두운 곳에서도 흔들림 없이 선명한 사진을 찍을 수 있다. 노이즈 제어 기능도 있어 고감도 촬영시 문제점으로 지적되던 노이즈도 효과적으로 억제한다.

후면에는 7.62cm(3인치) 크기의 92만 도트 짜리 LCD 모니터가 탑재됐다. 반사 및 얼룩 방지를 위해 3중으로 코팅 처리돼 촬영한 사진을 밝은 햇빛은 물론, 어떤 각도에서도 선명하게 확인할 수 있다. 흠집 및 얼룩에도 강하다.

 캐논코리아는 이번 제품 출시로 500D, 450D, 1000D 등 각 제품에 따라 차별화된 강점을 가진 보급기종 라인업이 강화돼 고객의 선택 폭이 넓어졌다고 밝혔다.

 이 제품의 정식 발매는 4월말 경이며, 가격은 번들렌즈 18-55IS 포함 120만원 후반대에 판매될 예정이다.
